Founders
Caecilia Charbonnier
CO-FOUNDER, CEO
Caecilia Charbonnier is the Co-founder and CEO of Wonder Labs, where she leads the creation of groundbreaking immersive VR experiences that blend technology, storytelling, and emotion.

A former professional tennis player, Caecilia turned a career-ending shoulder injury into a lifelong passion for movement science and digital innovation. She earned a Master of Advanced Studies in Computer Graphics from EPFL and a PhD in Computer Science from the MIRALab of the University of Geneva, where she specialized in motion capture and biomechanics. Deeply connected to academia, she also serves as a Professor of Practice at Arizona State University and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Medicine.
Before founding Wonder Labs, Caecilia co-founded the Artanim Foundation, a leading Swiss research center internationally recognized for its pioneering work in motion capture, virtual reality, and medical applications. She later co-founded Dreamscape Immersive, where she served as Chief Innovation Officer and helped shape the company’s award-winning VR platform — merging cinematic storytelling with advanced motion capture and real-time interaction — and contributed to establishing Dreamscape as a global leader in location-based VR entertainment and experiential learning.
At Wonder Labs, she is now taking on a new challenge, continuing to push the boundaries of immersive technologies — crafting experiences that invite audiences to imagine, feel, and learn.
Sylvain Chagué
CO-FOUNDER, CTO
Sylvain Chagué is the Co-founder and CTO of Wonder Labs, where he transforms cutting-edge technology into meaningful immersive worlds that blur the line between the virtual and the real.

An engineer trained at the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, Sylvain specializes in computer graphics, motion capture, and immersive technologies. He co-founded the Artanim Foundation, a multidisciplinary motion capture lab in Geneva, where he initiated the award-winning location-based VR platform ‘Real Virtuality’. He also co-founded and served as CTO of Dreamscape Immersive, a company developing fully immersive virtual reality adventures. Originally developed for high-end location-based entertainment venues, the technology he helped create was later adopted by Dreamscape Learn, a joint venture with Arizona State University, to design immersive educational experiences.
At Wonder Labs, Sylvain keeps pushing the limits of real-time embodiment and interaction in virtual worlds, bridging creative vision with advanced engineering. His innovations have earned international recognition, including honors at SIGGRAPH, Sundance, and Laval Virtual, highlighting his contribution to the field of multiplayer, location-based immersive experiences.
